Our deepest condolences to all of David's family and friends! We know David from his Columbus church, The First Congregational Church downtown. We met in the early 2000s when Allen and I joined. David was always a warm and welcoming person. At that time he and Donald lived in their Old Beechwold home along the Scioto River. In 2007 I (Al) decided to go into real estate. David was a positive voice of encouragement. For 5 years we both worked at the Coldwell Banker Metro Office with his dear friend and business partner Carolyn Petree. We will honor David's memory with a white rose on our communion table this Sunday and remember his family and friends in our Prayers of the People segment during our worship service. Thanks be to God for the Life and Work of David Magers! Blessings and Peace, Allen Baker & Al Waddell, Senior Deacon Elect, First Congregational Church, UCC Columbus. (Please note that there are many more entries at: www.bryanhardwickfuneralhome.com/tributes/David-Magers - not sure why they don't all show in the same place?)

David and I were good friends from third grade through high school. We lost touch and reconnected at the 30-year high school reunion and kept in touch after that. He was the nicest, most cheerful guy I ever knew. He always had a smile on his face, and he was so pleasant that he brightened the day for all he met. He will be missed by all who knew him. RIP, my friend!

David was a coworker but also a friend and one of my favorite people at the Board of Elections. He always made me laugh. Besides his humor he was kind, thoughtful and an overall classy person. He loved his pets, cars, coffee and Reece’s peanut butter eggs. I thought of him often since I retired and wished I would have gotten in touch with him. I’ll miss you David. RIP Love you, Lisa

Dear David’s Family
We are so saddened to hear of David’s passing. We were his neighbors on Scenic Dr, and enjoyed his dry wit and conversation so much.
Deepest sympathy,
Janet and Joe Vittorio.

David was a friend from school. We just had our 55th class reunion in September, and Dave was a big part of getting it together! He had a great personality. We had a lot of fun planning our reunion! He will be missed by our fellow graduates of the 1965 class of Cambridge High school. Great memories Dave! I’m so sorry for our loss!

What a wonderful man David was. We worked together at Coldwell Banker and he was always the nicest man to me. My thoughts and prayers to David’s family during this time. Heaven truly gained a wonderful angel!
