Burgy was a good friend and a dear friend to my late husband Ed Latham. For several years he and Burgy would meet on Tues to have lunch in Mt.Sterling.Ed and I both thought so much of Burgy and now I take solace in believing that somewhere he and Ed are together again, swapping jokes and stories. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

I've known Mr. Burgy for many years now. We first met while I was a student at Westland. While my son and I were living with his friend, I would see him multiple times a week and he even treated my son like one of his own family. As time goes on, everywhere I turn, I meet more and more people that knew him which just goes to show how many people's lives he touched. I'm sorry for his passing.

To Burgy's family. I am so sorry for your loss. The world lost a great man. I know him from his help at Westland AFJROTC. He helped my sons and knew my daughter. He was always happy when we seen him and always had a joke. He will be sadly missed. The Kessler family.

I was only able to work with Delbert a short time at Westminster-Thurber, but enjoyed every one of our therapy sessions together. He never failed to make me smile. My prayers go out to the family.

To the whole Burgy family... and all of those whose lives Mr Burgy touched, my condolences. He, and those like him, inspired me to be what I am, and do what I do today... My only wish is that I could be there with you all to celebrate his life... You know he wouldn't have had it any other way. Much love... JK (deployed to Incirlik AB, Turkey)

To the family of Delbert. I am deeply sadend by the news of his passing. I worked at Metrowest Internal medicine I helped take care of Delbert for 7 years. He was a great man always had a funny joke for every one. No matter how sick he was he could always make me laugh. He was very nice to me always and very respectful my heart breaks for your family at this time I really enjoyed his smile and his silliness. I looked forward to seeing him come into the office I knew he would have yet another joke for me and he would make me laugh even if I was having a bad day. What a great man I was blessed to have known him. Again I am sorry for your loss.
Prayers to all,
Rena Whittemore
