I was shocked to learn this morning of Donna's passing. She called me a few days after she lost Mel to tell me the news, and that plans were being made for a memorial service in Wooster in May. My parents, Eldon and Maggie, were great friends with the Ebrights and my Dad and Mel worked together for years, first at Producers Livestock and then later at Heinold. Such a nice couple. After they moved to Fort Myers from Naples, they made regular trips to Naples to visit my Mom, often sharing lunch together. Mel was one of my pseudo "uncles" among the many men who worked together and became close during their days at Producers and Heinold. I grew up admiring all of them, Mel included. Rest In Peace Donna and Mel. I will miss you, and our telephone conversations.
