Sorry for your loss. I (as many) worked with your Dad at Coca-Cola from 1971 to 1977. I was a route driver. I was in my twenties just back from Vietnam.
I have thought of him many times, in fact just a few weeks ago I was thinking about how he had remarked many times that he didn't think he would live past the age of 55 yrs old because most of his siblings were gone at or by that age.I haven't seen or talked to him since I left in 1977 so I wondered if he had liveed to be older than he expected.
He was a great person to get along with and I'm glad to see he had a long life. I'll remember him in my prayers.

We were sadden to hear about Uncle Ed's passing. He was the last of Mom's siblings, all of whom are greatly missed. We will miss visiting with Ed and his good friend Joe. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I could not help but read the obituary about your dear loved one. It fascinates me to read about the WW2 veterans.
Ed sounds like a person I would loved to have know.
Can I ask if he found the wedding ring in India?...
and I will sip a coke and hum a few bars of my favorite song.
My condolences.

To the Corbett Family:
My sympathy to all.
Your father and my father worked
together many years ago at the
Coke Company. Your father was also
a donor of blood to me when I was
attack by a farm dog back in the early 40's;my father was still over
seas and your father came to the hospital and donated the blood to
help save my life...for which I will
be forever grateful, as was my family.
Coke is still a tradition in our family as
my son is also an employee with the
company for 20 years.
May God Bless You and Peace be with you during your time of sorrow..
