Dear Carolyn, Doug, and Vanessa,
I just want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. Some of the fondest memories I have from my youth were made on North 21st Street, especially at your house. At the time I thought Bennie Brogsdale was the meanest cat on the block, but now I know that all he wanted was for all of us to grow up and be responsible adults, Your Mom was one of the sweetest ladies that ever lived and I shall always remember the both of them with a deep love and appreciation for having known them.

To the entire family of Mrs. Brogsdale. I know you all will miss her, she was a great woman of God and I know I will miss her. I pray that God's blessings abound and His favor gives you peace that will surpass all human understanding. I consider it an honor to have known her and want you to know that you are all in my prayers. I'll never forget her smile, her love for flowers, her cooking (she made the best dinner rolls in the city), and her lovingly quiet yet strong demenor.

Love,

Suerathia C. Turner
