We were so sad to hear of Eric's passing. We only met him once at our son's wedding this summer, but heard his name frequently from Brian and Linda. It meant so much to them to have Eric, Chris and Tom with them on their very special day. When Brian moved to Columbus several years ago, he knew hardly anyone and became friends with Eric, Chris and Tom. I know how he treasured his friendship with Eric and we heard the shock and saddness in his voice as he gave us this sad news earlier this week. Although we did not know Eric well, we extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends who will so acutely feel the loss of his presence.

He was a really good friend and he always tried to look out for his friends... This world needs more great people like him... He always had the right attitude about doing things...

What a tremendous person. I enjoyed his enthusiasm discussing philosophical and religious issues. His humor was perfectly in sync with mine. He was special and a kindred spirit. The world needs more beautiful people like him. This is a deep loss.
