Ernestine D. Bayless, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2021. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late James E. and Louise Bland on May 22, 1924. After marrying her loving husband Willis Bayless, Ernestine moved to West Mansfield, Ohio, where they resided for nearly 40 years. After Willis' passing, Ernestine returned to Columbus. She is a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church, where she attended regularly until the COVID 19 pandemic. Ernestine enjoyed her time traveling all over the United States and visited Australia, many countries in Europe, and the Caribbean. In addition to her husband, Ernestine was preceded in death by her son Steven Bayless. She will be remembered by her son, Kevin Bayless; and niece, Yvonne Hairston. Arrangements have been entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME. Due to the pandemic, no public services will be held. Private interment will take place in West Mansfield, Ohio.
