Eugene "Tucker" Austin, age 76. Sunrise, March 27, 1941. Sunset, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Summitt's Trace Healthcare Center. Preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Carrie Mae Austin; also Ernest, Theodore, Jr., John, and Mary Austin, Alma Washington. Survived by his children; sisters Vera Mathis of Rome, Ga, and Ann Birdsong of Columbus, OH; brother, Richard Austin of Rome, GA.; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, caregiver and niece Diana Fay Debro, and other relatives. Celebration of Life Service, Friday, July 21, 2017 Chapel of the WAYNE T. LEE FUNERAL SERVICE, 1370 East Main Street, Columbus, OH 43205, 614 253-7944. Viewing will begin at 11am followed by service at 12pm.

Eugene known to me as Tucker was my grandmothers special friend and I also cared from him from time to time when he would visit Ohio health center he is going to be dearly missed. Our family since our regards !
