Eva Harris Obituary

HARRIS Eva Mae Harris, age 63, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 30, 2006 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Member of Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies, Inc. where she served in the Choir and as a Food Pantry Volunteer. Retired from the Columbus Public School System, Hubbard Elementary and Cassady Elementary and formerly employed with Schottensteins North. Predeceased by parents Herman Caudle, Jr. and Mayrine Kenner. Survived by sons, Julian Harris, Jr. and Vincent (Serena) Harris; daughters, LaShell Harris, Blacklick, OH and LaLisa Harris, Orlando, FL; grandchildren, LaKeshia, Katarina, Ja'Lonn, Camille, Talena, Vincent, Brinston, and Camron; brother, Robert Caudle; step-brother, Paul Caudle of IN; step-sister, Betty Ware; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Celebration 5 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Higher Ground AAA, Inc., 870 St. Clair Ave. Bishop Dr. Sherman S. Watkins, officiating. Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until time of service. Arrangements by J. MARTIN SMITH MORTUARY, 1173 E. Hudson St., 447-9383.
