Flossie Phillips Obituary

Phillips Flossie "Flo" Mae (Adkins) Phillips, 86 of Westerville, passed away at Heartland of Uptown Westerville on March 11, 2017. She was born on December 22, 1930 in Sandy Hook, KY. Flossie was a teacher within the Elliott County (KY) School System until 1953. Flo is survived by children, Gary (Jan) Phillips of Lenoir City, TN and Marlisa (David) Elking of Northfield, MA; grandchildren, Kirsten Phillips of Murfreesboro, TN, Jeb Phillips of Dallas, TX, Natalie Elking of Bayonne, NJ and Nicole Elking of New York, NY; sister, Betty Parton of Stryker, OH. She is preceded in death by husband Willis John Phillips, mother Jewell (Adkins) Carroll, sisters Minnie Belle Litteral, Phyllis Pauline Johnston and Hazel Marie Davis. Friends may call at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOMe, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 p.m. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, OH. To the Elkins family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom will suffer no more she is at peace. And Marlisa your mom waited for you. I am so glad you and Dave were able to say good bye for now.
