Francoise Fistick Obituary

FISTICK Francoise Weeks LaDeaux Fistick, known as "Fran", 87, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009. Born on March 28, 1922, in New York and graduated from Mohawk High School, N.Y. in 1939 and then attended Oneonta State Teachers College in N.Y. for one year. She lived a quiet life and passed away in a peaceful sleep. Fran lived most of her life in Worthington, Oh. Fran is survived by sons, Stanley Marc (Cheryl) Fistick and Deane Michael (Paula Ann) Fistick; grandchildren, Jason Lee and Dustin Marc Fistick. Fran worked as a civil engineering draftsman, and was proud of her participation in the drawings for the Y-Bridge in Zanesville, Oh. At heart, Fran was an artist who loved to paint, draw, make pottery and create stained glass. She loved animals and always had room for one more needy creature in her home. Fran's family will receive friends on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 2-4 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, Oh.
