Fred was the nicest man I had ever met. He was always willing to help anyone in need and he will be missed.

Mr. Fred as we all lovingly called him, was a true prince among men! I grew up loving him, my kids would get so excited when they came to visit Grammy and Pa-Pa because that usually meant a trip down to see Mr. Fred! Driving down Saratoga will not be the same without that friendly wave or kind word from him. And man-oh-man could he ever bake a cake!! Who would of thought that gentle man wearing bib-overalls, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat could do that!! Mr. Fred, you will always hold a special spot in our hearts. Thelma--we love you all!

Thelma and family, Billy and I are so sad to hear that Fred passed. Fred was truly one of a kind, and so genuine and caring. He always made us smile. His hugs were the best, like a big teddy bear! Summit Church won't be the same without Fred's singing. We imagine that Dad (Fellie Knight) was certainly happy to see his best buddy again. God bless, and let us know if you need anything. Thelma,

We are so sorry to learn of Fred's passing. What a kind man! We will always be grateful for the care you and Fred gave Barbara. Always making sure she was safe and taking her to her appointments and grocery and so many other wonderful selfless things he did for her. There is a place in heaven for him and may God Bless you and your family and give you peace.

Fred won't ever be forgotten. Most of the years I knew Fred were our younger years. He could always be counted on for a smile. He was the most calm person I ever knew. He lived his life for Jesus and was ready to go when he died. God bless Thelma and Robyn.

My deepest sympathy goes out to your family. Right now when your pain is so fresh, it may be difficult to imagine that it will ever go away. But please know that in time the blessings of God's unfailing love will soften the hurt that you are feeling and bring your heart the peace, comfort, and hope that it needs to heal.

His love of family and sense of humor. His gentleness and his faith in the Lord. I don't believe he ever met a stranger and is going to be missed by so many. We all kept looking at his chair on the porch and it didn't seem right that he wasn't sitting there.
