I am so sorry to just catch up on this news. Greg was a wonderful friend and inspiring presence of Goodness way back in our High School years, and it sounds like that continued for a lifetime. His longtime friends and family as well as those he blessed with his presence are surely blessed to have had him in their lives. As are we who only really knew him long ago, but will never let him leave our hearts. Rest in peace, beautiful man.

I knew Greg from 2nd grade at Rankin and all the way through Firestone. He was always a first class standup guy. I will miss his witty attitude and his view of the world and the people around him. Rest in peace Greg.

Greg and my brother Bruce were classmates and best friends through elementary school into high school. After nearly 45 years, Greg contacted me through Facebook and we caught up on events. Having found me, he found Bruce and visited him in California last year. Greg always was a friend --- personable and witty and popular throughout his life. At Firestone he was the president of the student council and reflected a tolerance for differing people and ideas that clearly lasted his whole life. He bravely discussed his brain cancer and his challenges. He was a good man and the type of person the world needs. He will be missed.

Wonderful picture - it is how I hold him in my mind's eye. I echo Jerry's sentiments. We will raise a glass to him at the reunion.

Condolences to Greg's family. He was a gentle and loving person. He made everyone in his presence happier just being around his energy. He is now free from pain. He touched many lives on his life's journey and all are better off from having known him. As a Facebook friend, we all miss his puns and general sense of humor. His family meant the world to him.

It is with such sadness that we must endure the loss of such a terrific and interesting man, full of personality and uniqueness that cannot be matched. I shall and cannot stop missing him with deep regret that our lives did not cross more often. I shall always treasure the days we spent together, growing up through school, and as young men rooming together at Ohio State. His family and I are left with deep, deep crevasses in our hearts, grateful that he so valiantly fought his sickness, but God called on him to do His work in grander ways. No words can express the depth of his loss to us. May he rest in peace for all Eternity.
