Grover Hall Obituary

HALL Grover "Ted" Hall transitioned to his eternal life Saturday, July 14th, 2012 surrounded by the loving care of his family. Passing was the result of complications from a lengthy illness. He was the only living son of Grover and M. Evelyn (Kiggins) Hall of Shadyside, Ohio, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by a sister Martha Jane (Hall) Warne and an infant brother Michael. Surviving are his wife, Linda (Krieger) Hall; and sons, John (Renee) Hall and Aaron (Kari) Hall; two beautiful grandchildren, Jessica and Orion; a sister, Mary Lynn "Cookie" (Hall) Kays; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Grover was a 1964 graduate of Shadyside High School of Shadyside, Ohio. During the Vietnam War he was a member of the elite SAC Unit, Strategic Air Command with the USAF. He went on to receive both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Business from Ohio University and worked many years as a Manufacturing Engineer and Operations Supervisor for several corporations. With a quick wit and easy smile, "Teddy" was loved by family and friends alike. An active member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, he was Christian by faith and by action. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME 403 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH., Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Cecilia Church, 434 Norton Rd., Columbus, OH. Burial later Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, OH. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in his memory to (SPICE) Special People In Catholic Education at St Cecilia Parish,434 Norton Rd Cols.,OH 43228.
