We will always fondly remember Uncle Harry and Aunt Mildred and share in our family's sorrow. In addition to having led an inspirational life, we remember Uncle Harry as being warm-hearted, genuinely interested in our lives, and, at least in his visits to Florida, always in a happy mood. He and Mildred once went out of their way to have lunch with us in Fort Lauderdale, and we will forever appreciate that day. More recently, we enjoyed receiving his emails expressing gratitude for our holiday cards and going the extra mile to get our children's names right. It is so amazing that anyone in their '90s could do that, but perhaps not so amazing for those who knew him. Over dinner last evening, we read over his 1998 interview and discussed his many achievements, perspective, and gifts as a personable communicator. The biography filled in a lot of blanks about him, as well as our heritage, we had no other way to know, and we are so grateful that he did that. What an incredible mind. We had hoped to see him at his 100th but are grateful to have known him as long as we had. Marcy, we will keep you in our prayers for healing and for treasuring memories of your dad for many years to come.

Harry was a wonderful person who was a well respected and liked member of the bar. He always greeted me with a smile and inquiry into what was happening in my life. It always seemed special when he greeted you in shul.
