Ward will lie in state starting at 4 p.m., family will receive friends at 5 p.m. and Home Going Services will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Triedstone Baptist Church, 858 E. 3rd Ave. Interment 11 a.m. Monday at Union Cemetery. To the Family, You have my deepest sympathy. I will remember the good times we had at Mt. Hermon on Windsor Ave. Sis Ward was such a nice lady, and always had a kind word to give you. She would always ask me are you still ushering and my reply was yes. I know she will be missed by many. May God comfort her family during this time of sorrow.
