Hank will be missed by his kayaking buddies in Columbus. We enjoyed paddling with him at Griggs reservoir and sometimes had to work hard to keep up with him despite being younger!

Dearest Beverly: Hank was a wonderful artist and a charming gentleman -- in every sense of that word. The world is a better place for having had him in it. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Bev,
I read the Dispatch obituary. Hank had a very accomplished life, beyond that of librarian. To me he was a well liked, thoughtful, and practical coworker and librarian. Hank will will be missed.

Henry Rawles was a great artist, friend and supporter of Back Bay Restoration Foundation. I loved his work and enjoyed meeting him.

Hank was one of a kind and we will miss him greatly as will the programs/activities of the Back Bay Restoration Foundation in Virginia Beach. The sale of his donated paintings financed a significant portion of their budget. Hank and his kayak are probably floating somewhere this day. Herb and Lorraine Jones
