Irona J. Winterrowd

WINTERROWD Irona J. Winterrowd, age 97, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Lutheran Village of Columbus. Irona (Smith) was married October 20, 1937 to Harold H. Winterrowd who preceded her in death August 27, 1993. She is also preceded in death by parents Lawrence M. and Ida May (Keys) Smith and siblings, Nancy Lea, Ersel Elizabeth, Milo M., Nellie Marie, Geneva A. and John D. Smith. She was one of the original members of Parkview United Methodist Church (formerly known as Westgate Methodist Church) where she was active as a Sunday School Teacher and very involved in the women's circles, bazaars, and kitchen work. She was a wonderful mother and devoted to her family and her home. She is survived by son, Ronald A. (Victoria) Winterrowd; grandson, Anthony (Kay) Winterrowd; one great-grandson; many nieces and nephews including Miriam "Mim" and her daughter Linda Hall. Friends may visit with the family 10 a.m. – 12 noon Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Graveside service 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Cemetery.
