Jack Pullen Obituary

Pullen Jack O. Pullen, 92, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014. He was born May 9, 1922 in Clearwater, CA (later called Paramount), son of the late John N. Pullen and Estelle Reedy Pullen. He leaves his wife of 66 years, Norma R. Pullen. He is the father of daughters, Greta Pullen, Signe Badger, and sons, Ian Pullen (Mary) and Chris Pullen (Angela); grandfather of Michael Badger, Kevin Pullen Tyler Pullen, and Garrett Pullen; and brother of the late Carol Reedy Smith. After attending Compton Junior College, Jack studied acting at the New School for Social Research in New York City. Mr. Pullen married Norma Gibson in Long Beach, CA. Family will receive friends Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1000 Noe Bixby Rd., where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Family will observe private interment at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church or Lutherans for Life. Online condolences may be made to www.schoedinger.com
