James Kesler Obituary
1965 - 2018
James A. "Jim" Kesler, Jr., age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 7, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio. Graduate of Bishop Hartley High School and Ohio Dominican University. Longtime citizen of Joplin, Missouri where he is remembered by many beloved friends and was known for his participation in the community. He was an avid golfer and devoted Buckeye Fan. Jim was preceded in death by his father James A. Kesler, Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Tess (Sean Jenson) Kesler; mother, Sally Kesler; brother, Mark (Melinda) Kesler; nephew, Kamron Kesler; niece, Lexi Kesler; and life partner, Denise Gilbreath. The family will hold a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, contributions if desired may be made to the Wagner Benefit, c/o Chris Patterson, 602 Black Thorn Drive, Carl Junction, MO 64834. Arrangements by RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME. To Kesler Family,
Very sad to hear about Jim's death. I went to Bishop Hartley with Jim and enjoyed our time together in class of 1984. He will be missed by all.
