Lived on the same street for 39 years and never spoke to him once. Did not know he passed until July. Lots of nice things said about him, sorry I didn't get to know him.

What can one say when your sister's friend and classmate, sixteen years your senior, becomes your friend, too? That he was a gentleman, a Soldier, a Buckeye, a wit, a neighbor. My last and lasting memory, dinner at the Top Steak House, June 2014. His treat, of course. Thanks, Jerry!

I went to junior high and high school with Jerry Mossing. I worked on many high school reunions with Jerry. He was without a doubt one of the nicest and most caring man I've every met. He seemed more like a brother than just a friend. I hadn't heard from him for several months and my husband and I were beginning to worry. My husband thought very highly of Jerry. He and Jerry were both Vietnam veterans. Very often when we'd be out running errands at the grocery store, the post office or the drug store, we'd hear this voice, "Hey.....Meyers.....over here! Or, we'd walk out of the post office and this guy in a Lincoln car would start waving and tell us to come over and have a seat and "chat" a little. Or, we'd get a tap on the shoulder, turn around and guess who? Yep, Jerry!!! The phone would ring and this familiar voice would say, "Hey, Mary what's for lunch today?" I'd tell him to c'mon over and join us! I think you were truly one of a kind and you will be sadly missed my friend!

Jerry, my first cousin, one year apart, shared 7 decades of great conversation and laughter. He treated my wife Joanne and our girls, Siri, Nikki and Turi like they were his immediate family. We will miss this compassionate gentleman with all of our hearts.

Jerry was the best boss and also friend I could ever have. I worked with him for many years in several agencies. He was very caring and kind to all. I'll miss him but never forget the memories.

I first met Jerry when he was teaching me to be an instructor for the PIA Licensing Program. That was the start of a 40 year friendship. Jerry was a class individual and those of us who knew him will always miss that kind and caring person. To those who Jerry leaves behind know he will be missed.

Jerry was one of the finest people ever put on this earth. He was more brother than cousin. Jerry served his country and chose pride rather than pity. He served his family tirelessly and always remembered a birthday. I will miss him endlessly, and never forget his kindness. Thank God for his angel (Jane). We love you and miss you Big Dog!

I had a horrible feeling...I googled Jerry's name and found this online. My heart hurts. I'm so thankful that I got to visit with Jerry a few weeks ago. I will miss him terribly.
