Jerry Lynn Utzinger

Utzinger Jerry Lynn Utzinger, 77, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 25, 2017. He was born February 17, 1940 in Franklin County, Ohio to the late William "Bill" and Helen (Grabill) Utzinger. He was a graduate of Grove City High School and was a farmer on his family's farm for many years. He also helped run the family business, W.C. Utzinger and Sons Peat Moss. He loved travelling to Amish country and southern Ohio looking at old barns. For many years, he was active member of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Jim and Tom Utzinger. Jerry is survived by his sister, Judy (Ed Moore) Utzinger; brother, Jack (Linda) Utzinger; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at Muhlenberg Township Cemetery Williamsport, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL.
