I will always remember Joan's warm smile and the love she brought with her each time she came to volunteer at Bluffsview.
She loved the children she met with and cared for each child in a very special way.
I know she will be missed but not forgotten.

Dear Mr. Crawford,
I am so sorry for the loss of your precious wife Joan. We met some years ago as I was collecting clothing for Project Help Clothing Ministry. Our loss is truly heaven's gain. She was the sunshine in a room. My prayers are asking for your peace in knowing that she resting in the arms of our Saviour and Lord. We will see her again, for that is written in His Word. Dick, Pam & Doug-
Your mom was such a special lady, who cared so much for all the people around her. She meant so much to my family, and she will be deeply missed. I know that she is now walking with Jesus, her Savior, and would encourage us not to be sad. I know I am a better woman, Christian, wife, and mother because of her influence in my life.

Dear Dick, Pam and Doug, We still can't believe the news about Joan. She was a special lady, and, always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Her time on earth was certainly spent "giving " to others. She was one of the kindest ladies we have ever met. We hope your happy memories will be a comfort in the difficult days ahead. With our love and sincere sympathy, Jack and Barbara Nicklaus
