John Brauner Obituary
1933 - 2018
John Eugene Brauner, age 85, of Westerville, passed away December 20, 2018. Born to George and Mary E. Brauner on May 12, 1933. He graduated from Aquinas High School and The Ohio State University. Retired from North American Rockwell International after 30 years. Gene was a devoted husband and father who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed traveling and took many trips with his family to see new places. Survived by his children, Christopher E. (Susan) Brauner, Judith M. Ross (Wolfgang Kurapkat), James R. and William J. Brauner; grandchildren, Adam and Stephanie Keller, Cassidy and Elizabeth Brauner; sister, Mary (Charles) Baumann; nieces, Lisa Musielewicz and Julie Creech; nephew, John Baumann. Preceded in death by his wife Joan Marie, his parents and brother George J. Brauner. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Sunday 2-4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, Monday at 9:30 a.m. with visitation from 9-9:30 a.m. at the church. Rev. Fr. Anthony Lonzo, celebrant. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery. Prayer service Sunday at 4 p.m. Special thanks to St. Ann's Mount Carmel Hospital ICU for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
