John Andrew "Jack" Pavelka Jr.

PAVELKA John "Jack" Andrew Pavelka Jr., age 83, of Worthington, Ohio, died Friday, April 17, 2009. Preceded in death by wife of 55 years Esther, and brother Robert. Veteran of US Army Air Corps (WWII). Survived by children, Susan Brownlee Pavelka Milby, Robert Brownlee Pavelka (Rebecca) and Karen (Jim) Hartigan; brother, Richard (Sarah) Pavelka; grandchildren, Andrew Milby, Robert (Nicole) Milby, Audrey, Jackson, Rachel and Jacob Pavelka, Stephanie and James III Hartigan; great-grandson, Sabastian Milby. Graduate of Lakewood High School; attended University of Cincinnati and The Ohio State University. Builder of many beautiful homes in the Worthington area. Regional Sales Manager of Bermico Underground Fiber Products. He was a member of Worthington Presbyterian Church where he was a member of "God Club" (Geneva Fellowship.) Many special thanks to Dr. Andrew Grainger for his caring concern. Memorial service at Worthington Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Amy Avery. Interment at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Remembrances in his name may be made to Volunteers of America, Open Shelter, Faith Mission or the Mid Ohio Food Bank.
