Michelle, I am so sorry for your loss. It's been years since we worked together at OBT, but I remember attending your beautiful wedding and knowing a loving family was just beginning. Joe has left a wonderful legacy. I pray that God will comfort you and those who loved Joe in the months to come.

Joe was an amazing man in all senses of the word. I will never forget seeing him play his music either while passing him on the street during race for the cure downtown or in our treatment room for all of our patients and staff to hear. When he played in our treatment room for the first time, he lit up the room and the treatment room had never felt so magical. It was an honor to care for him and know him throughout these last years.

I enjoyed his music with the Rick Brunetto Band...my son had a lot of respect for Joe and spoke of him with only kind words. That made him special to me. His pain is gone, but his memory will live on for many years to come.

Joe was a special man and he'll never leave our hearts. We have such sweet memories of softball and potlucks especially with Joe and Dante bringing the music. Paul and I will miss him on the golf course. You are in our prayers.

Michelle, Rick, & family,
I came home to Columbus last week
to see my family and to see Joe.
I was fortunate to spend a year with
him playing in Raintree. He took me
under his wing like a big brother would.
He could kick it on the B3 always making
the band sound so good. His wonderful
family reflects on what a great man he
was. My profound sympathy to the Brunetto family and all his many friends
who well miss him. Joe had a deep sense of right and wrong in all aspects of his life
and lived by it. I was lucky to know him.
I will miss him so much.

I am so sorry and I know that no words can help you in this time of severe pain. Unfortunately it is a pain I know well. Joe was one person who spoke many sincere words to me when I was in disbelief of my own fathers passing and those words I will always hold dear to my heart. Joe was a wonderful guy and always a pleasure to work with on the band stand over these many years and to be around. I'll miss him a great deal, as I'm sure we all will. Donna and I are so sorry for his loss, but his legacy as a dad, husband and musician will live on forever.

We will greatly miss Joe's presence here at the Zangmeister Center. He was a wonderful spirit and human being. Every Christmas we will remember the time Joe played his piano and sang Christmas carols while receiving treatment. He touched many other patients and staff that day. Joe, I will miss playing with you in the Downtowners, having learned a great deal about music from you these past two years. Most of all, I will miss being in the company of one of the nicest and classiest guys I've ever known.
