Joseph Dummitt Obituary

DUMMITT Joseph Lynn Dummitt, 70, of Joppa, Ill., Saturday, August 6, 2005 at home. Born January 5, 1935. Graduate of Raccoon Township High School in Galia County, Oh. in 1952. Survived by wife of 51 years, Betty Townsend Dummitt; 3 sons, Ben (Angela), Barry (Kathy) and Tom (Vanessa) Dummitt; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; mother, Stella Mae Lucas Dummitt; 3 brothers, John, Bill and Jim Dummitt; 1 sister, Mary Potter. Preceded in death by father James R. Dummitt and grandson Brian Kelly Dummitt. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday afternoon, August 28 at 2 p.m. at Crossroads Church of Joppa.

Betty, I signed the Guest Book earlier, but it doesn't seem to have registered. I'm so sorry for your loss, and hate that I did not get to talk with him again. I appreciated so much that he called and wanted to stay in touch.
