Kevin M. Koppert

KOPPERT Kevin M. Koppert, age 52, of Upper Arlington, was discovered in Key West, Florida on Thursday, April 14, 2005. Born in Columbus, Kevin was a 1971 graduate of Hilliard High School and later Ohio State University. He owned North American Steel Buildings for over 25 years. He will be remembered for his kindness and his fun-loving nature. Preceded in death by his father Jack Koppert, and his cousin Marc McClain. He is survived by his former wife, Toni; and children, Taylor, Collin and Tanner Koppert; his mother and step-father, Jean and Ted Smith, Sarasota, Florida; his brothers, Cary (Donna) Koppert and Phil (Maria) Smith of Parma Hts. and sister, Rae (Mark) White of Gahanna; and nephews, Jack Koppert, Ryden and Tyler Harriott; and nieces, Raleigh Harriott, Sydney, Tori, and Ashley Smith; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all of his caring friends who have assisted him during his illness. A memorial service will be held at Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church, 4343 Dublin Road, Hilliard, 614-876-4343 on Monday, April 18th at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends may wish to contribute to his children's scholarship funds through Fifth-Third Bank to the Kevin Koppert Memorial Fund.
