To Kevin's family, I am so sorry for your loss. As a fellow Hartley grad from '76, I'll always remember seeing him in the hall with a HUGE smile on his face, a special hello by name to every single person he saw, the ornery sparkle in his eyes, his laughter. LOVED watching him play basketball. Sometimes after a game, he would make it a point to stop and talk to my dad who was working special duty with CPD. Now, they're together in Heaven, reliving the good times. May God wrap His arms around each of you with his warm, loving peace.

Kevin talked plenty smack, but he was a good man & a natural leader! He made us all proud when he was elected the first Black President, Ohio University Student Senate in 1979. Although we only connected periodically over the years, mostly on business related topics, I appreciated his checking on me during a nearby shooting here in SATX a few years ago. My prayer is that he is with his Savior and that he is now at peace! Thanks Kevin for representing and thanks for your friendship!

Condolences to the Family of Kevin Williams. Our paths crossed on the campus of Ohio University and the Ebony Bobcat Network. We were not close friends but were friends enough for him to have shared some of his business and entrepreneurial experience and knowledge with me. Kevin was wise well beyond his years. He will be missed.
Respectfully submitted,

It's a small world. About 15 years ago I was working in Las Vas at ESPN Radio. I shared an office with Sean Williams. Sean told me his favorite cousin came to town and asked if I wanted to join them for breakfast, to which I enthusiastically agreed. A few minutes later I was walking through the station, and a deep big voice calls out my name, I turned around and it was Kevin Williams. Sean standing there looked shocked! He asked Kevin, how he knew me, and Kevin said we were in the same high school, I said to Sean we were in the same homeroom! I hadn't seen Kevin in over 20 years at that time, and I lost track of Sean since then, but the Williams family was always one of the most kind, and friendly families I ever knew. My heart goes out to you all for your loss.
Peace be with you!
