Kyle was my buddy in High school. I have good memories of us. I thought I saw him walking around about a week before all of this and I wish I could have spoke to him. My only bro passed in 07 it was hard for us so my family and I will pray for yall. We know what this is like. God bless

I did not know nor ever had the opportunity to meet Kyle....and yet I am his brother. I am his brother in that I too have dealt with severe mental health challenges since the early 90's. Kyle probably struggled as I do - to give a voice to something that defies a common language. Mental illness is baffling for all involved. I do believe that Kyle has been set free and is in a place where this illness will never touch him again. My sincere condolences to those who loved Kyle. Stephanie, John and Emily, This is a sad day at Smoky Row Children's Center.
We have such loving memories of Kyle at the center. Today we looked through our photo books and found photos of Kyle and noticed that he was focused, busy and having fun. He loved preschool, was kind to his friends and a pleasure to be with. Even though he had health issues (allergies and asthma) we remember that he never complained! We are so sorry to read the sad news and we hope that your happy memories of Kyle can bring peace to your heart. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
