1927 - 2018
Lawrence Joseph "Larry" Feidner, 90, a longtime resident of Upper Arlington and member of St. Agatha Church, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Irene. He is survived by his children, Teresa (Dave) May, Robert Feidner, Deborah (Mark) Dumond, Marianne (Richard) Manner and Kathleen (John) Tait. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family wants to give a special thanks to Tom Hurley and Jim Lutz for their friendship over the years. Larry was member of the Galion High School class of 1946, a 68-year member of the Elks Club, member of the Knights of Columbus, Colonel of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and member of the Hilliard Senior Center. He also served in the United States Army during WWII. Larry enjoyed 52 consecutive Fourth of July parades with friends and family from his front lawn on Northwest Boulevard in Upper Arlington. Visitation will take place between 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 at St. Agatha Church with burial following at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sam's Fans, at samsfans.org, or to Honor Flight Columbus, P.O. Box 12036, Columbus, Ohio 43212. "Love you more." Teresa, Robert, Debbie, Marianne and Kathleen, My heart is very heavy for you all. This came as a huge shock. So glad to have seen your Dad on July 4. He was in such good spirits and always sharing stories of him and my Dad (Bill Gibson). You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
