It seems everyone experienced love and blessing in some way by being around Larry, and that includes John and I. To us, Larry was and IS a teacher of positive, constant, energetic service to others. He often thanked us for our service in many areas, but that was the master thanking the students! I still can't grasp that we won't see that cherubic smile again until Heaven, but how blessed to know that we will see him again, and hear him say "see ya, love ya, HI!" We love you, Gerri, and you, Jake, and you, Angela. We are blessed to be called Larry's friends and family in Jesus. We miss him, we pray for him and for you all.

Larry and I knew each other a very long time ago. He worked for me in the produce dept. in Mansfield, Ohio when he first started his work career and later I worked for him when he went in Management. My wife also knew Larry very well. We had the pleasure of visiting with Larry last year after many years. Lots of old stories! Larry was a class act and will be missed by all. Gerri,
May Jesus bless you with His peace. May He grant Larry "Wilbur" eternal peace with Him in heaven. When you and I lived in Ohio, I enjoyed the few times we had at your place. What a wonderful experience of extended family. I still remember so amazingly how you and Larry spent hours cleaning my car that year that I came to visit with you from Garden Plains, Kansas. What a tremendous job! I think of the two of you often. I believe you still have the hand made banner from Germany of our Lady and Her Child, Jesus, which was an ordination present to me from our relatives over there; in particular from Sister Edicta's cloistered community. Larry often said: I love you. I love you both with all my heart. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord let His Face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord look upon you kindly and grant you the fullness of His love and peace.

With all my love
Fr. Matthew (John)

Dear Gerri, Jacob and Angela,

Bill and I cannot get over how blessed we are to visit with you and Larry at Joe's 70 birthday party. If it was not for that, I would not have understood what fabulous people you are. The goodness that is in your lives, your committed Chritian work, bringing lapsed Catholics back to the Church, and heartfelt commitment to the Gospel. Larry chided me and knew it was 45 years since we had last seen each other. I suspect it will not be so long before I see him again. Bill has the book that Larry so earnestly placed in his hands and will indeed finish reading it.

God bless you all.

We are heartbroken over your loss. Larry was so special to all of us and we can't begin to tell you how grateful we are to have known him and that we were able to spend a couple days with Gerri and Larry during our recent vacation in Georgia. I had the pleasure and honor of knowing Larry through St. Helen's Church and working with him on a committee several years ago. He was always a kind and thoughtful man. It was obvious how much his family meant to him as he often spoke of them with sweet and loving comments. My sympathy to his wife, son and extended family. His bright smile will be missed in Vero Beach.
