Leann Morrow Obituary

MORROW Leann Irene Morrow, age 69, of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2012. She was born July 2, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Morris and Creda Hicks. She spent her formative years in Fredericktown, Ohio and graduated from Fredericktown High School, Class of 1961. Leann worked as a physical therapist, having earned her degree from The Ohio State University. Along her career path, she met James Ronald Morrow, who became her husband on July 23, 1966. Leann worked at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Cleveland, Riley Children's Hospital at Indiana University and the VA Hospital in Indianapolis. She and Jim also lived in Charleston, SC for many years. In addition to James, her husband of 46 years, she is survived by three children, Diane (Todd) Smith of TN, Matthew Morrow of CA and Timothy Morrow of SC; grandchildren, Patricia and Todd Smith; brother, Lamar (Lisa) Hicks of MD and sister-in-law, Paula Morrow. I graduated with Leann in the 1965 PT class and didn't know she lived right in my back yard. So sorry to reconnect in these circumstances. My thoughts are with you. Vicki Komito Cantor

Leann was the Resident Adviser for our floor my freshman year at OSU. She was so helpful with our adjustment to college life. I was sorry to read of her death.
