Linda Rawlings Obituary

RAWLINGS Linda Lou Rawlings, age 68, of Lafayette, passed on at St. Ritas Medical Center on January 5, 2009. She was born on August 28, 1940 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Carl Robb and Geraldine (Hannahs) Robb Fogel. On April 25, 1970 she married her beloved husband Everette Rawlings and he preceded her in death on August 29, 2005. She is survived by her children, Carla Staten of Columbus, Ohio, Martin Staten of Lake Worth, Florida, Tresa (Marc) Emerick of Lafayette, Ohio, September Kerr of Groveport, Ohio, John (Karie) Rawlings of North Port, Florida, Lisa (Scott) Hinson of Gahanna, Ohio and Jeff Rawlings of Blacklick, Ohio. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer Rawlings, Joey Rawlings, John Rawlings Jr., Michael Rawlings, Zachary Hinson, Ashley Rawlings, Jackelyn Kerr, Kenneth Kerr III and Clayton Emerick. Linda leaves behind special family members: her step-father, Donny Fogel of Barnesville, Ohio, Sally Dingus of Batesville, Ohio, Carol Swallie of Barnesville, Ohio, Denise, John, Alisha and Johnny Kirkbride of Groveport, Ohio, Ralph Robb of Utah and Michelle, Sam, Alissa and Evan Stevens of Heath, Ohio. Linda is preceded in death by a brother Harlen "Loye" Robb. Linda retired from Andersons General Store on Brice Rd. in Columbus, Ohio after 18 years. Her co-workers were like a second family to her. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all. Scattering of her ashes will take place at a later date in the presence of her family. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lupus Foundation 1800 N. Blanchard St., Suite 102, Findlay, OH 45840. SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. Thank-you, Aunt Linda, for the wonderful childhood memories you have given to me. I loved coming over to spend the night with you, Ez, Carla, Martin, Teresa & September.
