Lois Shaffer Obituary
1927 - 2018
Lois J. Shaffer, of Gahanna, Ohio (Three Creeks Senior Living), passed away Monday, July 30, 2018. Born November 16, 1927 in York, Pennsylvania to the late Whentle and Margaret (Everhart) Keister, Lois was a 1946 graduate of William Penn High School. Prior to her marriage, Lois worked at The Dentist Supply, later becoming a Registered Nurse working at the Westside Osteopathic Hospital, both of York, PA. Lois was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband John Shaffer, sisters Barbara Merck and Gertrude Breighner, son-in-law Frank Aranza Jr. Lois is survived by her children, Samuel (Kathie) Shaffer, David (Barb) Shaffer, Robin Aranza; grandchildren, Amy (Sonni) Jarrell, Brandon Shaffer, Cameron (Mallory) Shaffer, Maggie (Jonathan) Benner, Frank "Trey" Aranza III; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Mia Benner, Faith, Grace and Matthew Jarrell. At the family's request, services will be private. Arrangements by Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home & Crematory, Pickerington.
