Lora Craft Obituary

CRAFT Lora Fay Craft, age 84, died Monday, January 3, 2011 in West Liberty, Ohio. She was born May 5, 1926 in Wyonna, West Virginia. Daughter of the late Lewis and Irene (Thomas) Beaver. Fay attended the Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene. She was an avid flower gardener and enjoyed working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Craft, sisters Edith, Gladys, and Lillie, brothers Charlie, Harold, Nathan, and Billy. She is survived by sisters, Betty (Elmer) Oldenburg of Mt. Sterling, Susie Swaggerty of West Virginia; brother, Gerald (Wendy) Beaver of Round Top, Texas; special caregiver and niece, Penny (Andy) Higgins of West Liberty; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the First Church of the Nazarene 226 N. Market St., Mt. Sterling, Ohio 43143. Rev. Ron Reynolds and Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 5 from 4-7 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (Madison County Relay For Life). The family is being served by PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.
