M. Flauhaus Obituary

Flauhaus M. Jeannette (Curry) Flauhaus passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Laurels Of Worthington. Jeannette was born in Westerville, Ohio to the late, Owen and Alma Curry on March 22, 1922. Graduate of Kirksville High School. Her first job was with Curtiss Wright during WWII. Later she became the manager and accountant of Camp Fire Girls Organization where she served for 27 years. Jeannette met Ray and was married in 1950 and they spent their married life together living in Clintonville, Ohio. They traveled together especially enjoying cruises to many countries. Jeannette was a beautiful ballroom dancer, and was the top model for Lazarus for many years. Member of North Broadway United Methodist Church. Jeannette will be greatly missed by all but especially by her loving husband of 64 years, Raymond. Preceded in death by sister Louise Curry. Friends may call at the SOUTHWICK-GOOD & FORTKAMP FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3100 N. High St., Tuesday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., followed by service at 1 p.m. Rev. Robert Sholis, officiating. I so enjoyed working with Jean at the Camp Fire office. She taught me so much about bookkeeping and was a delight to be around.
