Its been a little over 3 months now and it been difficult but, I know you are in a better place so thats what keeps me going. There's not a day a go by that I don't think about you. Malik, I cant believe you're gone but I'm glad you'er in a much better place. I will always remember the fun we had and our trips to Chicago, you were a cool dude for sure. My last visit with you two yrs ago we talked about a lot. The good,bad and where we were at that moment in time. All we could do is laugh and say "i will never do some of those things again". Sitting there was like we had been friends for all of our lives but it had only been 8 yrs. I knew we would grow old and always be friends. After that visit we would talk at least once a month. When i wouldn't hear from you i would worry, and when you would call me back we would talk and talk and talk. I told you i would come back to visit but travel sometimes can be hard, but we talked and planed on a visit one day soon. Happy Birthday Malik!! was the last time we talked. Then it was the Merry Xmas message i left for you and then it was the last text you sent to me Jan 2011. I would love to just have one more talk with you. Even now I am in tears. I miss you tremendously and i will keep my memories in my heart for as long as i am able too. Goodbye Malik
