Margaret Boddeker Obituary
Margaret E. Boddeker, 79, of Columbus, passed away on October 8, 2018 after a long battle with breast cancer. Born on November 8, 1938 to Thurman and Mildred (Wentzel) Eggleston. Margaret graduated from St. Mary's High School and attended courses at OSU. Employed with the State of Ohio for 29 years. Preceded in death by her sister Jeanette Kelley. Lovingly survived by her daughter, Vicki (Terri O'Connor) Boddeker; son, Tyler (Andrea) Boddeker; granddaughters, Ryley and Emma; sister, Ann Gallaer; brother, Glen Eggleston of Florida; long-time companion, Larry Mead; and nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 12 from 2-3 p.m. at the Sunset Cemetery Mausoleum, 6959 W. Broad St., Galloway, Oh 43119. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a charitable contribution in her name to the Stefanie Spielman Fund, 660 Ackerman Rd, 6th Floor, P.O. Box 183112, Columbus, Oh 43218. So sorry for your loss. I didn't know Margaret, but we were family. My Grandfather Daniel F. Bowers was one of 14 children. He spoke of his family, often. The last names of Wentzel and Eggleston were part of his memories. Margaret was the name of my Grandmother. A name handed down, perhaps, to your Margaret. My condolences.
