Margaret Elizabeth Wade

Wade (Christiansen) Margaret Elizabeth Wade nee Christiansen born April 27, 1935 in Tenafly, New Jersey. Though if asked she would resolutely tell you she was Virginian, the land of her mother and father. She was raised a southern belle by her father, John Wilson Christiansen who preceded her in death. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, MO. before venturing to The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It is there she met her husband of 59 years, Dewey Shannon Wade, who mourns her passing on September 8, 2015. She is survived by sons, John C. (Carrie) of Galloway, OH, David S. (Carolyn) of Beavercreek, OH, and Niels A. Wade of Jacksonville, FL. She will be missed by her grandchildren, David S. (Chelsea) Wade, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC, Kelby C. (Dustin) Maynard of W. Jefferson, OH, Monica N. Wade of Charleston, SC, Kaitlyn M. (Aric) Brown of Marysville, OH, and Megan E. Wade; as well as a sister, JoAnn Christiansen of San Francisco, CA. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 12 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the WOODYARD NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 2990 Bethel Road. Graveside service to follow at 1 p.m. in the Dublin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. She was the sunshine in our lives. Though as Robert Frost says, "so dawn goes down to day, nothing gold can stay."
