Mark Mercurio Obituary
1958 - 2018
Mark (Marc) Francis Mercurio, born April 19, 1958 in Columbus, died unexpectedly at home on March 29, 2018. Preceded in death by his father Dick Mercurio, and maternal and paternal grandparents. Marc is survived by his mother, M. Sue Mercurio, (Jim Gregerson); brother, Rick Mercurio (Sally Luken), the extended Mercurio and Kaylor families, dedicated and supportive friend Tim Gossman, and by his favorite and most important loved one – his niece, Anna Maria Mercurio. In addition to Anna Maria, Marc's passions included his Mom's cooking, music, especially folk singers Melanie and Joni Mitchell, anything Wizard of Oz or Judy Garland, and dogs of course. He will always be remembered by friends, co-workers and family as someone with a nice disposition and soft smile. Services will be a Catholic mass at St. Patrick's Church, 280 N. Grant, Ave, Columbus on May 19, 2018 at 10 a.m. with interment immediately following at St Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you take special care of your health and well-being and make donations to House of Hope for men where Marc was once active, or the CHA Animal Shelter.

The world won't be the same without his cheerful smile and love he freely shared with anyone and everyone.
He showed me extreme kindness and love when I first came into recovery and was still in treatment. He showed me and convinced me that I wasn't ALL bad and I had worth. He was always such a good friend. He'd do anything for a friend.
I love you Marc!!

Mark will be missed. I remember him from school. It's been many years however I remember how kind and true of a person he always was. So sorry for your loss and grief. You are in my prayers.
