Markell was one my closest male friends growing up mainly because we were always the same height...lol. Losing him makes me think of alot of things that have been done in the last 10 years since we graduated....I have to be the one to say Markell OUR REUNION WILL NOT BE A REUNION WITH OUT YOU!!!!!!!! Im sure everyone else feels the same. U were the life of the class of 99 and no will doubt that. Ill miss u so very much. RIP

I know the feelings of loss when we become sepperated from our loved ones and how difficult that process can be when our understanding of it, is challenged with so much saddness during this time. Be gentle with yourselves, stay near your family and friends that you can lean on, and allow yourselves the time you may need, to be,... still, for awhile.
Cynthia, I have searched for a way to get ahold of you after hearing of your loss on the news.
I have been thinking about you, how you are, how your family is, and have kept you all, in my prayers
You are one of the finest women,that i have had the pleasure of meeting, being so strong in your faith. You hang onto it, just as i seen you doing, that day on the news handling yourself like,..
only a woman of your faith, could.

Markell was a student of mine at ITT Techincal Institute. He was one of the only students I have ever had that I still think about. He was hard to work with in class but the work always paid off in the end. I ended up learning a lot from Markell on patience and working with people who are willing to learn. The more time I spent with him the better I became as a teacher. You will be greatly missed Markell.

First of all, I would like to say all prayers and blessings go to the family. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss. I do have fond memories of Markie. I remember as an adolescent, going to see him at his mother's home, with his sister. We had a good time. I remember flirting and teasing him. I remember, how he would make you feel accepted no matter the flaws you had. Lastly, I remember the conversations we had. I was amazed of his wisdom and intellect that he had at such a young age.

I knew Markell as a kid on the little league football team. My sister was on the little league cheerleading squad. I remember when my sister won homecoming queen and Markell won homecoming king. We still have the picture of the two of them walking on the field together. My prayers are with all of his family and friends in this time of grief. May god bless you.

I have known Markell for over 14 yrs, and it hurts my heart to see how his life was taken from him so prematurely.
