Mary-Alice Doonan Obituary

DOONAN Mary-Alice Doonan, age 78, Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Mt Carmel West Hospital. She was preceded in death by parents Owen and Alma Roberts. Survived by daughter, Lisa Ann Doonan; son, Thomas A. (Ronda) Doonan; grandson, John G. Doonan; brother Owen J. Roberts; nieces and nephews. She was a brilliant businesswoman as Director of Bridal Gifts at Lazarus of 20 years. She retired from Coldwell Banker King Thompson and was a member of German Village Garden Club. Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER MID TOWN CHAPEL, 229 E State St., where friends may call one hour prior to service. A private family interment will be held at Kingwood Memorial Park. Friends may if they wish contribute to American Heart Association in her memory. Visit www.schoedinger.com

In 1986, after graduating from OSU, I worked 9 months for Mary Alice at the downtown Lazarus Bridal Gift Registry. I remember she was always "dressed to the nines" and had a wonderful laugh. My prayers are with your family.
