DeSeno Mary Louise (DeMatteo) DeSeno, age 91, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Wesley Glen Retirement Community. Retired from the Westside Veteran Administration, Chicago, IL after 20 years of service. Graduate of St. Patrick High School, Chicago, IL. Preceded in death by parents James and Louise (Pospishil) DeMatteo and husband James Vincent DeSeno. Survived by children, James (Joan) DeSeno, Janice (Rich Tawney) Hauenstein, and LuEllen DeSeno; grandchildren, Bridget, Allison, J. Michael, Jennifer DeSeno; Kristine (Alen Mlatisuma) Powers, Erin (Marc) Stitt, Nathan Hauenstein; and James Orcutt; great-grand-children, Julia and Evan Stitt and Maxwell Mlatisuma. Memorial Mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 E. North Broadway. Father Matthew Hoover, Celebrant. Private family inurnment at Queen of Heaven, Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception School Tuition Assistance, 366 E. North Broadway, Columbus, OH 43214. We are sorry to hear of the loss of Mary Louise DeSeno. She was always a pleasant lady to meet when she was visiting here from Chicago. I still have a recipe card in my file entitled Mary Louise DeSeno's Vinegar Slaw. I still make it and we continue to enjoy it. She may be gone, but her memories will continue to live with us. Our prayers for you all.
