Mary Jane Priest

Priest Mary Jane Priest, 84, of Columbus, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Mary was born August 11, 1932 in Crestline, OH to the late George and Mina Henkel. She was a graduate of Galion High School. She was a bridal consultant for Cole of Columbus and Montaldo's. Mary was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church and a Buckeye fan. She campaigned for John Kasich and Pat Tiberi and she was an avid poll worker for the Board of Elections. Preceded in death by her husband Harold Priest. Mary is survived by children, Cindy (Bob) Bosnak, Pamela (Tom) Strange, Cathy Williams (Brent Moore) and Phil Priest (Laura Bass); the love of her life, her cherished grandchildren, Kirsten (Kenny) Mackey, Alan (Leah) Strange, Caitlin Williams, Kristine Strange (Josh Steele), Jason Bosnak and Jessica Bosnak; siblings, Russell (Janet) Henkel, Alice Guinther and Eileen Williams; nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Village of Westerville, St. Ann's and Mount Carmel West for their loving care. Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., where a funeral service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Dress for Success, 1204 N.
