I called her Sister Mae, she was best friends with my mom when Bishop and she lived in Port Clinton, Oh. My mom and I use to visit them and spend weekends with them and their son Larry. My best memories are all of us being together at the Gypsum Tabernacle along with Uncle Harold
Boggs and Uncle (Bishop) Wallace Smith. Everyone of the elders are gone now...but the memories still remain. Remember when you taught me how to do the strings on my fingers to make Jacob's Ladder, and when you and Bishop would come by for Bar-be-que beans on the grill. Ha! Sweet memories. Thank you for being a truly saved and sweet woman of God and family.

To Bishop Shouse and family: Aunt Mae was such a lovely woman. I often think about all the times we had together and all the amazing meals she cooked. She was an amazing woman of God and although she's with the Lord, we still have her loving memory. My condolences.

To the Shouse/Wilson & Greater Emmanuel Family:

I would like to take this opportunity to offer my sincere condolences to you in this hour of reflection. We know that to be absent from the Body is to be present with the Lord. I had the privilege of meeting Mother Wilson during the course of illness. Her remarkable strength is what impressed me most for it spoke volumes to the awesome Woman of God she was. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Shouse and White family. Mom, aka Aunt Mae was a Gift of Life. She was a very special First Lady and mother to my family. She will definitely be missed by many. She lived the life and played the role God called her to fulfill. May God’s peace, love, comfort give you strength and courage during the hours and days ahead. The sorrow you feel today will pass away and you’ll find the sun of happiness will shine for you again. My prayers always for such a time as this.

Mother Wilson is the one who actually told her husband, Bishop Quander L. Wilson about me which resulted in an Elijah & Elisha bond that has greatly impacted my life and shaped my ministry. She will never be forgotten & I am forever grateful for her quiet strength in her later years!
