Almost a month has past and I still think its going to be him on the phone when I get a call. I will forever miss the joy he brought to me and so many others. He was more then a friend, he was a brother. My condolences go out to Gayle and Kaitlyn and I hope they know that they are not alone and I will always be there for them. Rest in peace Mason, I'll love you forever.

Gayle and Kaitlyn,
Words cannot express the amount of sorrow I feel for you! The loss of a child and sibling is so difficult to comprehend. Please know that my family and I are praying everyday for God to wrap his loving arms around you and carry you through the darkest days! In him all things are possible,I pray for him to give you the strength to carry on!

Dear Gayle and Kaitlyn, I know that Mason was such a bright spot in your lives. I am deeply saddened to just learn of his passing. Mason brightened my life for the two years I had him in school at Delaware Area Career Center and the several years I have stayed in touch with him since graduation. Mason was one of those students that reminded me just why I became a teacher and how very proud of him I was when he first competed in the Life Skills competition at both the state level and on to the Nationals. Mason, like Nikoli Tesla - one of his heroes in science and life - made a lasting positive impression on many lives and I am very proud to say that I was one of those lives. I will miss him and always keep you all in my thoughts.

Mason, you were the only made and effort to be my friend after I got sober and I appreciate everything. I miss talking to you and getting your messages. You were one of very few genuinely nice people in this world and you are and will always be missed.

Dear Gayle and Katilyn,
I am so very sorry. The first time I met Mason was at Patty Anns.Mason and Kaityln came to stay at Pattys for the summer. Mason had such a wonderful heart and a beautiful soul. He was always kind to everyone. I remember Olivia trying to hold Masons hand when she was little and Mason looking at me and not wanting to hurt her feelings but not wanting to hold her hand either. I pray for you both everyday.

Mason,
It is hard to believe that you are gone. Growing up with you in Columbus was nothing less than a treat. I have countless memories of all of the things that we did and planned on doing in the future. Fishing in the pond by the house is probably one of the most fond of them all. I felt as though our families were just one family and you were my brother, and as you can imagine this experience has been harder than ever. I know you are up in heaven watching after us, probably getting a kick out of some of our daily activities. Your sense of humor always astounded me. I speak for the rest of my family when I say that I will forever miss you and will see you once again. Miss ya buddy, wish you were here.

It's still so hard to comprehend what has happened. Last I saw you, you were doing so well. We bought food from the store, you made me a quesadilla and felt my daughter kick. I was excited about introducing you two when she's born.

Mason, I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to meet you, and have you in my life. I wish I would've told you how much you meant to me, rather than just expecting the feelings to be known.

Mason, the last time i saw you..you were doing so good. We went to giant eagle and you made me lobster. When I needed a friend, you were always there to talk to. When you were down, you knew who to call. I cant believe or put into words how devastated I am that you aren't with us anymore. I wish I could tell you how much i love you and will never stop missing you. You had so many people who cared deeply for you. You will never be forgotten. RIP I love you Mason.

Dear Gayle and Kaitlyn,
Although we never had the pleasure of meeting Mason, our family has heard so many wonderful things about him from the Darvishi Family. Our heart goes out to you both at this tragic loss. I know that there is nothing we can say now to ease your hurt, but please understand that we do have a sense of what you are going through now, and our hearts are breaking for you. It's evident to us that Mason was a special soul who touched so many people; therefore, he will NEVER be forgotten by those who were fortunate enough to know and love him. He deserved so much more time here in this life, but we know Heaven is now a brighter place with Mason's arrival! Though we can't know yet what Heaven is like, I choose to believe that Mason and Tierney are together, knowing each other and reveling in a place that is so peaceful, yet so joyous, it is beyond our imagination!
With Prayers,
Sheryl and Anthony Becan

I have known the Allen family for my whole life since i was born and i still talk to them even though i have moved to Houston, Texas 5 years ago and i still have the heart to Allen family, they were like a family to me especially mason and kaitlyn were like sibilings to me. my favorite childhood memories were the park by otterbein that had trains tunnels and one time at dinner (we used to have dinners all the time and also lunches), anyways one time at dinner i was so angry that we had no sour cream because i have to have sour cream in my baked potato, but mason had a solution by putting ranch in the baked potato to replace the sour cream, it sure do feels like yesterday. we all miss you mason, memories are the only way to keep you alive! <3 i love you.

I grew up with Mason and Kaitlyn with my whole life from birth, They were like my sibilings and i loved them like they were my sister and brother. I have so many good memories with them, just like yesterday. My thoughts and prayers go with Allen family, i love you so much Mason. You are defintely in good hands right now mason. My favorite part of my childhood is when i got super mad about sour cream on thanksgiving dinner or a dinner but we always had lunch, dinner at my house but i always have to have sour cream in my baked potato... well there was no sour cream in my house, but mason had a solution, by putting ranch in baked potato replaced by sourcream. There are so much more i can tell about my childhood memories with Mason and Kaityln.

Please accept our deepest condolences at this time of very great sorrow. It is nothing short of a tragedy that Mason was here for such a short time but the beauty in his life is that he shared himself in friendship so readily. We are grateful for the wonderful friendship that Mason extended to our son, Rob, for so many years which is a blessing to him. Our hope is that, in time, memories of the good times with Mason bring all who loved him some comfort. Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the Universe, the true Judge.
