Mildred Daugherty Obituary

DAUGHERTY Mildred "Millie" Harp Daugherty, 79, of Jamboree, KY, died Monday, April 9, 2007, at Pikeville Medical Center. Born October 6, 1927 in Pike Co., KY, the daughter of Charles Harp and Virginia Little Harp. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband George Grant Daugherty, sisters Anna Bell Casebolt, Louise Spence, Sue Harp and Mickey Harp and a brother Charles Harp. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Jamboree Church of God. Survived by son, Larry Roberson of Grove City, OH; daughter, Linda (Robbie) Compton of Jamboree, KY; brothers, Robert Harp and Lawrence Harp, both of Florida; sister, Christian Harp of Florida; grandchildren, Brian (Tammy) Compton, Chris (Bridget) Compton, Joey (Shirlena) Compton and Gabriel Roberson; great-grandchildren, Tate, Faith and Peyton Compton. Visitation Tuesday, April 10, 2007 and Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at 6 p.m. at the Jamboree Church of God, with services at 7 p.m. and funeral service 12Noon, Thursday, April 12, 2007. Revs. Willie Gordon, Johnny Fields, Eddie Taylor and Marvin Casey officiating. Interment Daugherty Cemetery at Jamboree, KY. Arrangements are under the direction of PHELPS FUNERAL SERVICES, INC. of Phelps, Ky.
