Millard Jones Obituary
Millard Jones, age 91, was born July 21, 1926 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia and passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 5, 2018. Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Juanita Jones, mother Sis Jones, father Robert Jones, brothers Murphy Jones and Hoover Jones, sisters Rebecca, Mabel, and Roberta, and son Vincent. He is survived by his children, Brenda Jones, Curtis (Amelia) Jones, Linda (Trent) Jones, Janice (Ivan) Adams, Carlena Lindsay, and Mae Sue (Willie) Leftwich; sister, Mrs. Ruby Carrington; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation 11 a.m. Friday at COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave., until time of service at 12 noon. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.cookandsonpallay.com
