Over the summer, I was a volunteer on the heart floor at Children’s Hospital, where I was blessed with the wonderful privilege of being able to meet Nathan. I'm not sure I'll ever forget when I met him for the first or second time. He was at the nurse's station, and he just brightened up so much when I asked if he was Nathan. I’ll never forget that smile! I know that I will never forget Nathan and that he will always have a special place in my heart. I had him put on my church’s prayer list, and I will be sure to put your family on the prayer list too. Thank you for the privilege of meeting your son, Nathan, and God bless.

Nathan you will be missed. I will always laugh when I think about how you and Kristan tried to help me when I locked myself out of the house.

Nate was a wonderful kid. I had met him at Heart Camp and I will always have fond memories. Especially when Jason and I were teaching him the Cup game. Lots of laughs were shared with this amazing boy, who has personally gave me inspiration to work hard and just let go and laugh. He will always be in my heart. I love him as if he were my little brother!

Nathan, I hope you enjoyed the concerts when I came to Colerain Elementary, my favorite school. The next time that I come, we will have a New Orleans parade in your honor and celebrate your life.
I hope you get to meet My Pal Dimitrius Roberts, who is parading in the heavenly sunlight, also. Practice your music!

I had the pleasure of meeting Nathan when I was admitted to childrens for a short stay. He had a wonderful spirit. He became a part of my life as well as my son's life. We enjoyed every visit with him. Anthony will miss his "best friend" as he has called him for the past few months. We will miss, as well as remember his laugh! Since we heard it so many times after he would beat us at a video game. our prayers are with his WONDERFUL MOM and GRANDMA,as well as his other family members.

Nathan Stanley was a very much loved little boy by his family and friends. He was also a very loved brother-in-law and uncle. He will be missed by everybody who knew him. When Nathan was with us he spread so much joy and love to those around him it will be hard not having him here. In my opinion as his oldest sister he was a hero to all he knew. He was a very brave little boy for everything he has been through. We will all miss him dearly.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
